Dental panoramic radiograph.

Dental panoramic radiograph is one of the most frequently performed diagnostic tests in dental offices. Pantomogram allows for a comprehensive assessment of the condition of the patient’s oral cavity, jaw and temporomandibular joints. Thanks to the panoramic radiograph, the doctor is able to examine, among others, the structure of tooth roots or the direction of their eruption. The indication for a panoramic radiograph is, among others, advanced caries and orthodontic, prosthetic and implantological treatment.

WHAT DOES A PANORAMIC X-RAY OF TEETH LOOK LIKE AT BALTIC ORTHO CLINIC IN GDYNIA?

Taking a panoramic X-ray of the teeth is a painless procedure. At the Baltic Ortho Clinic in Gdynia, we use modern radiological equipment. No special preparation is required for the examination. The patient doesn’t have to be on an empty stomach, because the time since the last meal has no influence on the test result. Dental panoramic radiograph is generally not performed in pregnant patients, bearing in mind the risk resulting from exposure of the fetus to X-rays.

Thanks to the panoramic X-ray, the doctor is able to indicate which places require treatment, as well as determine the location of impacted teeth and identify their malformations. On this basis, he can choose the most effective method of treatment.

HOW MUCH DOES A PANORAMIC RADIOGRAPH COST IN GDYNIA?

The cost of taking a panoramic X-ray of the teeth is fixed, regardless of the problem with which the patient came to the clinic. The frequency of pantomograms depends on individual needs. We invite you to see the price list of radiological examinations in our clinic. Registration for a visit is possible by phone, e-mail or personally at the reception.
