The indication for a panoramic radiograph is, among others, advanced caries and orthodontic, prosthetic and implantological treatment.

Dental panoramic radiograph is generally not performed in pregnant patients, bearing in mind the risk resulting from exposure of the fetus to X-rays.

Thanks to the panoramic X-ray, the doctor is able to indicate which places require treatment, as well as determine the location of impacted teeth and identify their malformations. On this basis, he can choose the most effective method of treatment.
